Trigon was a major villain in Teen Titans. He was the main antagonist in season 4 of the Teen Titans series. He was an inter-dimensional demon who had massive reserves of power. He is the father of the Titan Raven, whom he apparently hates the most, for her always trying to thwart his plans. His goal is to dominate worlds, leaving his personal trail of death and destruction wherever he goes, therefore, he was very interested in dominating the Earth because it has a large amount of living beings, beauty and peace, which is everything he hates the most. His plan was to manage to dominate Ravenna on the day of the Prophecy so that she could become the Portal that would bring him to our world. To achieve this, Trigon had to use his powers to resurrect Slade and grant him powers and dominion over his demon servants so that he could capture Ravena and force her to open the portal at the right time. When the portal was opened, Trigon arrived on planet Earth already releasing an immense wave of energy that altered the planet's reality, transforming it into its own image, being the only ones who managed to free the titans and Slade, who soon joined together to distract Trigon while Robin and Slade went looking for Ravenna to defeat the villain. After being found and unleashing all her power, Raven managed to generate powerful blasts of energy in her father and then probably expel him to another dimensional plane.
Personality[]
Trigon was a cruel individual who only cared about his conquest for power. He was egotistical and did not care about the mental stress he would put his daughter through. Trigon was manipulative and cunning preferring to use deceptive means to catch enemies and allies off guard. In battle, Trigon was ruthless and sadistic caring only about taking down his enemies.
Abilities[]
Trigon is by far the most powerful antagonist the Teen Titans have ever faced. He had a wide range of power that made him difficult to fight in battle, powers like:
- Demon Physiology: Trigon is an interdimensional demon, because of that, he possesses characteristics, attributes and abilities of a being of this species.
- Super attributes: Due to its physiology and mainly due to its size, Trigon has extreme physical attributes, such as much more than strength, reflexes, endurance and durability.
- Immortality: Trigon is basically immortal, possessing only a few weaknesses, such as his daughter Raven's powers, which technically should only have driven Trigon into his dimension.
- Energy Manipulation: Trigon can generate and manipulate powerful beams of red energy that he usually fires from his eyes.
- Force field generation: Trigon can use its evil energy to generate resistant and durable force fields.
- Telekinesis: Trigon can use his supernatural powers to move people and objects around. Considering his vast power, he should be able to move even very heavy materials.
- Telepathy: Trigon can communicate with other beings through his mind, as he did with Ravenna and Slade.
- Clairvoyance: Trigon has an extreme knowledge of past, present and future events. His knowledge is so vast that it makes him almost semi-omniscient.
- Precognition: Trigon can see and guess future events, as when he already knew what the Titans' plan was, long before they even thought of a plan.
- Resurrection: Trigon has enough power even to bring the dead back to life. He did this to Slade and branded him for the symbol to represent his power and demonstrated that he could undo his own action, bringing the reanimated back to death.
- Demonic Magic: Being a demon, Trigon possesses extreme demonic magic powers, so much so that he managed to create evil clones of the titans, with even their respective powers. Trigon uses his magic as one of the bases of his powers.
- Grant powers: Trigon can grant powers to other beings, as was the case with Slade, who after being resurrected, gained pyrokinesis powers and superhuman attributes.
- Reality manipulation: After arriving on Earth, Trigon altered the entire real state of the planet, turning all rivers, lakes and oceans to lava, all living beings to stone and destroyed all buildings.
- Pyrokinesis: Trigon, being a demon, has very intense pyrokinetic powers, being able to create and control high amounts of fire.
- Demon creation and control: Trigon is so evolved that he has his own horde of demons that he creates the base of fire and demonic magic, being the master of them all..
