Diamondhead is made entirely of diamond and possess superhuman strength that can compete with powerful aliens. Diamondhead can manipulate the diamond in his body to form weapons like a sword on his arm which has the potency to destroy machines and other powerful aliens. He can use the diamond in his body to form other diamonds around his surroundings to provide as a defense against powerful attacks. Diamondhead's body can also handle absorbing energy well and can channel the energy as an attack in battle.
